Points Explained
In order to borrow books from others, you need to earn points which you use up as you borrow books from other people.
You earn points when you:
- List books: enter books you own and want to borrow. Each book listed gets you 1 point.
- Lend books: respond to a borrow request, and send your book to them. 15 point awarded.
- Write feedback: you will get a chance to rate your borrow/lend experience. Give feedback to earn 1 point.
You use up points when you:
- Borrow books: each book you receive costs you 10 points.
Some additional facts:
- 2:1 ratio: you have to lend at least 1 book for every 2 you borrow. If you don't keep this ratio up, you won't be able to borrow any books, even if you have the points, until you improve your ratio.
- Feedback score: if your feedback score is bad, people may refuse your requests. Efficient response earn good feedback points.
